School Staff Can Involve their Parents
This series of web pages describes how schools and school staff can work with parents to prevent substance abuse. This page describes steps that schools can take to ensure that the parents in their school are as informed, involved, supported, educated and empowered in their child’s instruction and in school life. Research shows that schools with involved parents are more likely to be successful at retaining students in school, thereby reducing the potential harmful uses of substances among students.
